Above all else I would prefer you donate to a charity or cause I support. 
I support charities that spend 90% or more directly to the cause (and 10% or less on administration and fundraising).
The cause I care the most about is helping to educate and reduce poverty amongst girls and single-parent families in the global south.

Free Gift List
1. Transit Maps: I collect transit maps from around the world.  Next time you travel, consider grabbing extra transit maps for me.

2. The gift doesn't have to be an item - it can be an experience.  Invite me out - board games, a dinner party, karaoke, a picnic, or a walk. 

Affordable (Under $50) Gift List
1. Karaoke tracks: You know I love karaoke.
